Inside Patternland

I have always been a “crafty” person.  I’ve always been drawn to the quiet beauty of the world around me — from the way flowers lean toward the sun to the personality and charm found in the animals we share our lives with. That love of observing both nature and everyday moments is what first pulled me into design, where I first did tee shirt designs, and then discovered surface pattern design. What began as a creative escape quickly became a passion for turning those details into artwork that feels intentional, expressive, and full of life.

As I grew my practice, I realized how much joy there is in creating patterns that become part of someone’s home, wardrobe, or daily rituals. While I’m known for my botanical motifs and soft, nostalgic color palettes, my work also explores playful themes like pets, animals, and character‑driven designs that bring warmth and personality to products. Whether I’m sketching a single bloom or capturing the spirit of a beloved pet, my goal is always the same: to create designs that spark connection and delight.

Today, I focus on developing ready‑to‑license collections and collaborating with brands who value thoughtful design, meaningful details, and artwork that tells a story. Surface pattern design is more than my work — it’s the place where my love of nature, animals, color, and creativity meet.
